Bud Freel grew up in a union household and attended Salesianum School and University of Delaware with a degree in accounting. He has worked in many different capacities during his professional career, co-owning O’Friel’s Irish Pub and Restaurant, serving in Wilmington Mayor Frawley’s administration, selling real estate, and working in DelDOT’s Community Relations office.
